My review:

This is an incredible romantic suspense novel!

I absolutely love both of the main characters. They are very well developed and have many strengths and hangups that are very evident throughout the story. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how the interacted with each other and the additional characters in the book.

The plot of the story was very intricately woven. We found out fairly early on who they were looking for but the twists and turns that occurred kept me guessing as to how it would all play out. There were some wonderful surprises.

I’m giving this wonderful book a rating of 5 stars. I highly recommend it.

Genre: Romantic Suspense

About the book:

Afraid for her life with nowhere to turn, she reaches out to one of the victim’s husbands, Detective Josh Solomon.

Though initially skeptical about Caitlyn’s theory, Josh soon realizes that the attack that took his wife’s life was anything but random. Now the two of them must discover the truth about who is after Caitlyn’s team—and what their end game is—before it’s too late.

In this nail-biting thriller, award-winning author Lisa Harris will have you believing that there’s no such thing as random.

My review:

This is an intricately woven romantic suspense novel!

I fell in love with both of the main characters. They are very well developed and presented. They both have a lot of emotional hurt that they are carrying. Caitlyn’s wounds came as a child. Josh’s heart was broken in the beginning of the book when his wife was brutally murdered.

The plot is wonderful. It is filled with lots of twists and turns that kept my interest. Life interrupted my reading time but I HAD to come back every time I had a few minuted. The story stayed in my head and the plot kept me trying to figure things out even when I didn’t have time to read.

I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that both Caitlyn and Josh repeatedly thought about God and were trying to figure out how their situations could be in God’s plan and how they could trust Him to get them through it.

This wonderful book is getting a 5 star rating from me. I highly recommend it.

Pursued (Nikki Boyd Files #3) by Lisa Harris

Title: Pursued (Nikki Boyd Files #3)
Author: Lisa Harris
Pages: 315
Year: 2017
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Publisher: Revell
Format: eBook (also available in paperback)

About the book:

Nikki Boyd’s flight into Nashville was routine—up until the crash landing at the airport. When the dust settles, Nikki discovers that the woman who had been seated next to her on the plane is missing—and no one will admit she was ever there. Erika Hamilton has been flying to Nashville with an air marshal as a key witness in an upcoming grand jury trial. When she flees from the crash, is she running from trouble or straight into it? Before Nikki can even see her family, she and her team are pulled into a missing persons case where the motives are as unclear as the suspects

My review:

An action packed romantic suspense novel!

The case that Nikki is working on is a stand alone storyline. To get the full enjoyment out of this book though the series should be read in order to be able to follow the details of Nikki’s personal life.

I love the depth of the main character. Nikki has more problems thrown at her over the course of this book than anyone should have to face. Yet she holds on to her sanity and remembers to ask God for the strength, and everything else, she needs.

I really like the amount of personal life issues that crop up too. She has to try and balance work with them just like we all do.

The plot was great! It moved quickly with plenty of twists and turns to keep the readers guessing. Early on the identity of the bad guy is revealed but it only made it more exciting in my mind to see how the story would play out.

This is a very entertaining book. I’m highly recommending it and giving it 5 stars.

My review:

     An incredible medical thriller!

Though Mia Kendall and Race Daniels are the two main characters in this wonderful story there are a number of very important people throughout the book. They are all amazingly well developed and written.

I was caught up in the heartbreaking circumstances that both Jeme and Catherine were trapped in. I desperately wanted everything to work out for both of them as well as their families.

The danger and mystery that Mia and the others faced was so remarkably well crafted that I was captivated by the story. I got sucked into this book and at times I was completely unaware of what was going on around me.

I am giving this fantastic book a rating of 5 stars. I am highly recommending it. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for other books that these two authors write together.
